The Malta National Futsal team in Libya

The Malta National Futsal team was defeated 8-1 by Bosnia in the first game of the Mediterranen Cup that is currently being organised in Libya.

Malta had managed to go a goal up thanks to ZC Excess player Carlo Scicluna but then the opponents were totally superior and dictated the game.

One needs to note that National Coach Vic Hermans could not utilise many regular players who did not manage to make it to Libya, he therfore is giving space to many fringe players.

In the meantime three coaches within the Malta Futsal School are currently participating in this 1st Mediterranean Futsal Cup with the Malta Futsal National Team which is currently underway in Libya.

Sixteen teams are participating in this tournament and the Malta Futsal National team will be playing 6 games in total. The three coaches are Jonathan Pisani, JeanBert Gatt and Carlo Scicluna. This tournament which is being organised by the Libyan Association is of a very high level in Futsal and it will serve as a very good experience for all those participating.

Malta Futsal School wishes good luck to all those participating especially our national team.

Results of games:
