Frans Pace wins LTP Trap Selection Trophy

Frans Pace was the overall winner of The LTP Trap Selection Trophy at the Bidnija ranges during a competition organized by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation. This competition was on 125 clays with the best six shooters to qualify for a barrage finals of another 25 clays.

Frans Pace placed first with, 22, 23, 23, 24 and 24 = 116/125 (ISSF MQS) +20 = 136/150

Stephen Vella placed second with 113/125 (ISSF MQS) +19 = 132/150

Jeffery Pisani placed third with 111/125 +20 = 131/150

Anthony Bugeja placed fourth with 109/125 + 20 = 129/150

Eugenio Borg placed fifth with 109/125 +17 = 126/150

Jason J. Aquilina placed sixth with 110/125 +15 = 125/150.

James Galea Junior managed a perfect straight of 25/25 during this competition.

Class A 1st Frans Pace 48/50, 2nd Jeffery Pisani 46/50, 3rd Jason J.Aquilina 45/50.

Class B 1st Dr.James Galea 43/40, 2nd Charlie Demanuele 43/50, 3rd Frank Scorfna 43/50.

Class C 1st Jean Pierre Borg 38/50, 2nd Romeo Cassar 37/50, 3rd George Ciappara 37/50.

Meanwhile Double Trap Maltese shooter William Chetcuti and his coach Jimmy Bugeja are in Al Ain United Arab Emirates where William will be competing in The ISSF World Cup Finals on Tuesday amoung the top 13 shooters from ten Nations. The Double Trap event will be on three rounds of 50 clays each and the best six will qualify for a barrage finals of another 50 clays for Tuesday afternoon.
