Football: AX Hotels staff members helps charity through football

AX Hotels employees donned shorts and football shoes to help raise funds for AX Foundation. For another consecutive year, the staff at AX Hotels grouped themselves in seven different football teams for their annual AX Football Tournament. This was another good occasion for the staff to mingle outside of the work environment and improve team companionship while collecting funds for the company’s foundation that helps numerous persons, including employees, who unfortunately are going through a difficult situation at home and would require financial aid.

“This was a fantastic event for our staff and thanks to sporting events such as today’s football tournament, we can further improve teamwork and team building at our workplace. We are so thankful that our management supports these events. What a great cause and one we are delighted to be able to contribute to,” said Helen Borg, Assistant Human Resources Manager.

Many staff members, family and friends attended this football tournament, with the latter also contributing to increase funds for AX Foundation; an autonomous body supported by AX Holdings that was established to operate as a non-profit organisation in the voluntary sector.
