Floriana ordered to pay € 22,464

The Civil Court has ordered Floriana FC to pay €Eur22,464 it owes to Nigerian agent Damien Iweke for Chris Okoh’s transfer back in 1996.

A Floriana committee official confirmed that the Greens expected to appeal from the case.

Nigerian naturalised Maltese Chris Okoh make his debut in the Maltese Premier League with Valletta back in 1995 and after one season he joined Floriana. He also played for Birkirkara, Naxxar Lions, Pieta Hotspurs and Sliema Wanderers.

The thirty-five year old also made three appearances for Malta’s National team under the guidance of Josef Illic.
