This weekend is a break from the BOV Premier League but surely not a break form football and nonetheless not a break from the Sunday sports show on TVM – Kontrattakk. Sports journalist and host of Kontrattakk Sandro Micallef and his team of sports journalists are all geared up to give the televiewers the best in tonight’s tv show as there are eight matches to disucss. All the eight matches are from the fourth round of the U*Bet FA Trophy namely: Balzan Y. vs Floriana FC, Mellieħa FC vs Qormi FC, Sliema W vs Valletta FC, Mosta FC cs Xewkija T, Rabat A vs Hibs, Birkirkara FC vs Ħamrun S and St. George’s vs Lija A. These matches as expected are attracting a lot of supporters to the stadium as all the teams in all the divisions were eligible to take part in this competition.

Apart from the discussion in studio together with William Chetcuti and Pierre Calleja from Qormi FC aided with footage and interviews from all the stadia used for the eight matches, Micallef will also give an overview of yesterday’s Sport Malta Awards – L-Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali organised by the Kunsill Malti għall-Isport and the Għaqda Ġurnalisti Sports.

Kontrattakk televiewers will have their chance to put forward their opinions by calling and casting their vote through the live televoting system and also by email – kontrattakk@tvm.com.mt Last but not least, the Kontrattakk Programme Facebook page will be open for all those who like many others watch the programme and surf the internet at the same time.

Kontrattakk is produced by Sandro Micallef and Peter Cossai together with sports contributors Joshua Cacciattolo, Cristian Muscat, Catherine Micallef and Edmund Curmi.

So … like all sports fans … have it on your apple or blackberry – every Sunday at 9.45pm on TVM! Kontrattakk … where real questions are put forward!
