Final Score: Qormi 3 Hamrun 2

A penalty awarded by Referee Marco Borg and transformed by Joseph Farrugia paved way for another win for Redino Apap’s Club Qormi FC.

Qormi coach Stephen Azzopardi opted for an offensive 4-3-3 formation as Matthew Bartolo and Jorginho supported debutant Daniel Nwoke who just returned to Malta less tahn 48 hours ago. Qormi were coming from an easy 4-1 victory against Tarxien Rainbows.

Hamrun Spartans mentor Jesmond Zammit started an initial 4-3-3 formation as Kevin Sammut an Gianluca Calabretta supported centre striker Anderson Mendes Ribeiro.

Qormi faced bottom placed Hamrun Spartans at the National Stadium in a game that ended in their favour thus giving them a partial 4th place in the standings.
