Early goal by Cope not enough

Malta’s second game in the 4th International Futsal Tournament being played currently at the Hibs Stadium saw Malta lose 5-2 to Greece.

Vic Herman’s squad went a goal up in the very first minutes of the game through a fine execution by Clint Cope. This goal gave the impression that Malta would have an easy game ahead but it was not the case since the opponents managed to play better Futsal and netted the ball with ease in some counter attacks.

By the end of the first Half the Greek already had managed to go in the half time talk 2-1 ahead.

The draw result (1-1) between Switzerland and UAE in the first game of match day 2 of this Tournament still gives Malta a minimal chance of winning this year’s edition by they need to win against the Arabs and the Greeks draw or lose.
