Darik Mohammed Abdalla from Sudan joined third division club Mtarfa FC. Darik is the first foreigner to register with the yellows, although the club early this year registered Joseph M. Munyao from Kenya but the later obtained the Maltese citizen early this year and therefore he was registered as a Maltese player.

During his trial, Darik  proved himself to be the right player to support Omar Smeir, Mario Stival, Cleaven Mizzi and Arvin Micallef in the attack. Darik was withdrawing  the attention of various clubs in Malta during this summer but he registered with Mtarfa FC for the professional training sessions conducted by Joe Galea and Paul Farrugia, for the exposure that this club is giving to its players via the club official website www.mtarfafc.tk and for the professional administration conducted by the committee.

His debut with yellows is expected on Sunday 19th September in the crucial match against Marsascala which is valid for a place in the Quarter Final of the Quick Keno Second and Third Division League.

Also, the club earlier this year registered players Chris Grima from Msida, Claude Bonanno from Żebbuġ Rangers, Jonathan Muscat from Mġarr United and Roderick Sammut from Rabat Ajax.

Mtarfa FC committee wishes to take this opportunity to inform all youth players that the club is accepting applications from prospective players to join the Mtarfa under 15 and Mtarfa FC youth, through email mtarfafootballclub@gmail.com, online application www.mtarfafc.tk or by contacting the club secretary on 77682732 for further information.
