Clive Farrugia wins Emanuela Skeet Trophy

Clive Farrugia sustained his top position in Skeet shooting today during a competition organized by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation at Bidnija for The Emanuela Skeet Trophy. Clive managed 24 out of 25 in his first round and 23 in his second round to qualify for the barrage final with 47/50. In the barrage finals he managed another 24, to finish first with 71 out of 75. Pavel Lakia, a regular member of the MSSF from Georgia residing in Malta placed second today with 47+22 = 69. Joe Muscat placed third with 41+23 = 64 + s/off + 4. Darren Vella placed fourth with 42+22 = 64 + s/off + 3. Ian Grima placed fifth with 43+21 = 64 + s/off + 3. Elenio Mifsud placed sixth with 41+20 = 61

 Class A 1st Pavel Lakia 47/50. 2nd Clive Farrugia  47/50.

Class b 1st Ian Grima  43/50. 2nd   Joe Muscat 41/50.

Also, the Italian Skeet coach Ludovico Dimaio is in Malta to assist the skeet shooters in their preparation for The Commonwealth Games. Ludovico Dimaio  comes from Naples and is a Skeet coach with FITAV and a member of The International Shooting Academy. He was a member of The Italian National squad from 1988 till 2007 and Italian Skeet Champion in 2006.
