Carlo Polli ask for release following wages dispute

Hamrun Spartans Swiss midfielder Carlo Polli submitted a release letter at the MFA headquarters last Tuesday to be released from his contract following a wages dispute. The former Genoa primavera player has not been paid for these last two months.Recently released  Croatian Nikola Graseca is also unpaid these last two months. Hamrun Spartans is set to sign Danish defender Ronnie Hartvig on a six month contract. The former Birkirkara defender was on Luxol St Andrews books last season.

Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza imminent transfer to Valletta is still on and a close Sliema Wanderers source confirmed the Blues are in advance talks with Nigerian striker Alfred Effiong. Argentinean winger Emiliano Lattes is also set to join the Blues and also reported for training.
