Brian Said pens down new one-year deal with first division side St Andrews

The Luxol sokesman, have confirmed that the club captain, Brian Said, has penned down a new one-year deal with the club. This means that the defender is eligible to play for the club until June 2014, and the news was welcomed by a majority of the fans faithfuls.

The club officials also hoped that former Maltese international would continue upon his bright form once he reappears during the upcoming 2013/14 season.

Brain Saisd joined the first division outfit in 2011 and since then, the defender has managed to help the club to obtain a two succesful campgains.

St Andrews this season will be managed by the newly signing William Barbosa, who joined last week after two years with Maltese giants Valletta as the club are also set to offer new contract to Englishman Matthew Towns and striker Trayo Grozev.
