Boxers Laamous, Grech in Wales

Maltese Boxers, Haithem Laamous and Clint Grech are currently on a training camp in Wales to enhance their boxing experience. They started their training sessions eirleir this week at the Cardiff training station gym, which is owned and managed by Simon Harris.

The Maltese  boys are gaining valuable experience sparing against top boxers in Wales. While at the gym the Maltese boys had the opportunity to meet Nathan Cleverly the current British and commonwealth light heavyweight champion who is fighting later on this month  at the Wembley Arena for the European title against Antonio Brancalion.  Both Laamous and Grech met also international Boxer Najah Ali who is up against Michael Walsh  on 13th February. The Maltese boys had sparing sessions with Najah Ali and Luke Robison (son of Steve Robison, former World Feather Weight Champion).

In a statement the Malta Boxing Federation thanked Simon Harris for the use of his Gym by the two Maltese boxers, Nino Spiteri for sponsoring Haithem Laamous & Clint Grech and all the boxing friends in Wales for their support.
