ASMK’s Motocross and Autocross Finals coming up on Saturday

Next Saturday, the Assocjazzjoni Sport Muturi u Karozzi (ASMK) will continue with the activities from this season’s championships at Ta’ Qali. Motorcycle races are expected to start at 4:00 pm, being the last event from the Honda Motocross National Championship 2019/2020.  At 7:00pm, the ninth event of the ASMK National Championship Pasta Poiatti 2019/2020 will be organized till late at night under artificial lighting.

From the Motocross’ standings, in Class A, Kyle Camilleri on a KTM is leading with 239 points followed by Bernard Sammut on a Beta motorcycle with 222 points. Having said that, there will be a crucial battle for the title between Camilleri and Sammut.

In Class B there’s a different story, since Gozitan Rider Jorn Stellini on a KTM motorcycle is leading with 245 points, followed by Michael Sant on a Husqvarna with 184 points and James Mamo on a Yamaha with 145 points.

In the Veterans Class, everything will be decided next Saturday. The challenge will be between Paul Deguara on a KTM motorcycle who is currently leading the standings with 197 points and William Sant on a Honda with 179 points.

In the National Modified Autocross Championship’s Class A, Andrew Pisani on an Opel Nova is leading with 174 points and is followed by Jean-Paul Grech on a Peugeot 106 with 157 points and Noel Zammit on a Fiat Punto with 143 points.

In Class B, Justin Buttigieg on his Opel Nova is leading with 48 points followed by Paul Formosa on a Fiat Uno with 23 points.
