On Sunday 17th December 2017 the Assocjazzjoni Sport Muturi u Karozzi will be organizing special activities held every year at Christmas time. Like in previous years this Sunday’s event is going to be held to collect funds for ISTRINA. In this 24th event edition the day’s program is to include the Autocross races in their fourth event of the ASMK – Pasta Poiatti 2017/2018 National Autocross Championship. The Motocross riders too will be competing on this day in a non-Championship Fun Races. The day’s program begins at 08.00am with the Motocross races while car racing follows from 10: 00am. The day’s program is expected to come to an end with the Demolition Derby great event starting at around the 3: 30pm.

Although the Demolition competitors are finding it very difficult to buy old cars for this annual Car Demolition event, yet 42 competitors registered for this competition. Although half of the drivers are new to this race the other half are drivers who usually take part in such a game. Hence, in this edition it is much more difficult to forecast who the Winner and the Runner-Up will be.

Although collision of the cars is the role of this game the drivers have special safety rules to adhere to, to eliminate any injury of all the drivers and marshals on track. The track preparation by ASMK for this particular race together with the preventive rules for this match which must be respected by all drivers will ensure fun for all spectators who follow the Demolition Derby to the end. At the time, the Association takes all necessary precautions for this to happen.

Meanwhile, last weekend the Association was also very busy in other events. On Friday 8th December 2017 ASMK held the 3rd Honda Motocross National Championship 2017/2018 event at the Ta’ Qali Sports Complex.
