Dear Secretaries,

During a Malta FA Council Meeting held on Thursday, 04th August 2016, the president of the Association, Norman Darmanin Demajo, as per Statute – Article 90 (i), proposed the granting of an Amnesty to all players and officials with a pending suspension for a specified number of matches originating from all competitions organized by the Malta FA and all of it’s member associations from a decision of the Disciplinary Commissioner as at the 04th of August 2016.

The Council approved the amnesty and thus the list of suspensions was cleared and voided.

Removals  from  the  Association,  Period  suspensions,  Doping  suspensions  and  Bribery/Corruption suspensions do not fall within the Amnesty.

I thank you for taking note of the above and wish you all a productive and successful football season.
