Alan Mario Sant Appuntat Għall-Fażi Finali Tal-UEFA European Under-19 Championship Fil-Ġermanja

Il-UEFA Referees’ Committee appunta lir-referee internazzjonali Alan Mario Sant għall-ħmistax-il edizzjoni tal-UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2015/16 – Final Tournament li ser isir fil-Ġermanja bejn il-11 u l-24 ta’ Lulju 2016.

L-iskwadra t’uffiċjali appuntati mill-UEFA Referees’ Committee għall-partiti ser tkun komposta minn dawn is-sitt referees, it-tmien assistant referees u ż-żewġ raba’ uffiċjali:

  • Referees – Aliyar Aghayev (l-Ażerbajġan), Bart Vertenten (il-Belġju), Alejandro Jose Hernández Hernández (Spanja), Roi Reinshreiber (Iżrael), Radu Petrescu (ir-Rumanija), Anatolii Zhabchenko (l-Ukrajna)
  • Assistant referees – Ridiger Çokaj (l-Albanija), Birkir Sigurdarson (l-Iżlanda), Vladimir Gerasimov (il-Litwanja), Milutin Djukić (il-Montenegro), Geir Oskar Isaksen (in-Norveġja), Igor Demeshko (ir-Russja), Douglas Ross (l-Iskozja), Manuel Vidali (is-Slovenja)

Jumejn qabel l-ewwel partita, nhar is-Sibt id-9 ta’ Lulju 2016, l-uffiċjali appuntati kollha ser ikunu sottomessi għal fitness check fuq ħaxix artifiċjali (tar-raba’ ġenerazzjoni) fil-Ġermanja stess.  Dawk l-uffiċjali li jfallu minn dan iċ-check ma jitħallewx jieħdu sehem.

Kyros Vassaras (il-Greċja), ir-rappreżentant preżenti f’isem il-UEFA Committee, ħa jkun qed jaħdem flimkien ma’ Matteo Simone Trefoloni (l-Italja), Terje Hauge (in-Norveġja) u Emil Bozhinovski (il-Maċedonja), it-tlieta li huma membri fuq il-UEFA Referee Observers Panel.

Iż-żewġ gruppi tan-nazzjonijiet parteċipanti huma magħmulin kif ġej:

  • Grupp A: il-Ġermanja, l-Italja, il-Portugall, l-Awstrija
  • Grupp B: il-Kroazja, l-Olanda, Franza, l-Ingilterra

Il-partiti tal-gruppi fil-11/12, 14/15 u 17/18 ta’ Lulju ser jintlagħbu fil-VfB Stuttgart Arena, Sportpark Fautenhau (Grossaspach), fl-iStadion an der Kreuzeiche (Reutlingen), fl-iStadion auf der Waldau (Stuttgart), fid-Donaustadion (Ulm), fl-Albstadion (Heidenheim), u fl-iStädtisches Waldstadion (Aalen); il-fażi eliminatorja fil-21 ta’ Lulju fil-Carl-Benz-Stadion (Mannheim) u fl-Hardtwaldstadion (Sandhausen); filwaqt li l-finali ser tkun kontestata fl-24 ta’ Lulju fir-Rhein-Neckar-Arena (Sinsheim).

Waqt il-laqgħa li għamel f’Budapest fit-2 ta’ Mejju 2016, il-UEFA Executive Committee ħa diversi deċiżjonijiet, fosthom il-prova taż-żieda tar-raba’ sostituzzjoni fil-ħin barrani matul il-kompetizzjonijiet tal-youths, inkluża l-UEFA European Under-19 Championship fil-Ġermanja.

(L-erba’ semifinalisti u r-rebbieħ tal-play-off bejn iż-żewġ skwadri li jispiċċaw fit-tielet post jikkwalifikaw għall-FIFA U-20 World Cup Korea Republic 2017).

ALAN MARIO SANT APPOINTED FOR UEFA UNDER-19 FINAL TOURNAMENT IN GERMANY

The UEFA Referees’ Committee has appointed FIFA Referee Alan Mario Sant for the 15th UEFA European Under-19 Championship, 2015/16 – Final Tournament in Germany from 11 to 24 July 2016.

The match officials’ team on duty appointed by the UEFA Referees Committee will consist of the following six referees, eight assistant referees and two fourth officials:

  • Referees –Aliyar Aghayev (Azerbaijan), Bart Vertenten (Belgium), Alejandro Jose Hernández Hernández (Spain), Roi Reinshreiber (Israel), Radu Petrescu (Romania), Anatolii Zhabchenko (Ukraine)
  • Assistant referees – Ridiger Çokaj (Albania), Birkir Sigurdarson (Iceland), Vladimir Gerasimov (Lithuania), Milutin Djukić (Montenegro), Geir Oskar Isaksen (Norway), Igor Demeshko (Russia), Douglas Ross (Scotland), Manuel Vidali (Slovenia)
  • Fourth officials – Nikola Dabanović (Montenegro), Alan Mario Sant (Malta)

All appointed officials will undergo a fitness check on artificial grass (4th generation) at the start of the tournament on Saturday, 9th July 2016 in Germany (two days before the first match).  Any official who fails this check will not take part in the tournament.

Kyros Vassaras (Greece) will be the UEFA Committee representative on site, working alongside the following members of the UEFA Referee Observers Panel, namely Matteo Simone Trefoloni (Italy), Terje Hauge (Norway) and Emil Bozhinovski (Macedonia).

The two groups of participating nations are formed as follows:BU BURGAS

  • Group A:  Germany, Italy, Portugal, Austria
  • Group B:  Croatia, Netherlands, France, England

The group matches on 11/12, 14/15 and 17/18 July will be played in VfB Stuttgart Arena, Sportpark Fautenhau (Grossaspach), Stadion an der Kreuzeiche (Reutlingen), Stadion auf der Waldau (Stuttgart), Donaustadion (Ulm), Albstadion (Heidenheim), Städtisches Waldstadion (Aalen); the knock-out phase on 21 July in Carl-Benz-Stadion (Mannheim) and Hardtwaldstadion (Sandhausen); while the final will be contested on 24 July in Rhein-Neckar-Arena (Sinsehim).

During its meeting in Budapest on 02 May 2016, the UEFA Executive Committee made several decisions, including the testing of a fourth substitute in extra time at the final tournament of youth competitions, including the European Under-19 Championship 2016 in Germany.

(The four semi-finalists and a winner of a play-off between the two third-place group finishers qualify for the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea next year).
