Ahead of the Super Cup Final

Tonight at 8:15pm a new futsal season kicks off with the Super Cup Final between Elite Champions Valletta FC Futsal and Knock Out holders University of Malta Students Futsal Team. This final will be the first match played under the Malta Football Association’s administration.

Valletta’s coach Xavier Saliba said, that the successful qualification to the UEFA Futsal Champions League Main Round came after a fruitful preparation since the end of the last season. Now they will put all this at a side and will focus only on tomorrow’s final, which means that they will be contending to another important title who they would like to bring it to the Capital City as well.

After the Super Cup Final, they have to work endlessly for the UEFA Futsal Champions League Main Round and most of the players will be involved in hteir respective national teams, including the Maltese. Their objectives are clear that they will try to win all titles as much as possible.

On the other hand the University of Malta Students Futsal team led by debutant coach Đorđe Maksimovic, who used to play with them, are aware that this Super Cup Final will be a tough one against Valletta. They will do their utmost to have the best result. The team had some changes in the administration and players, thus they will continue to build up on previous years to keep their high profile obtained recently.
