Rabat Ajax’s striker Adam Smeir’s dream may soon come true, as National Team coach Pietro Ghedin and Technical Director Robert Gatt are considering to invite him to join the provisional squad of the National team in the days to come.

This decision comes in view of last season’s incredible performance by Rabat’s talisman who was instrumental in achieving Premier promotion for the Magpies. When asked to confirm if Smeir will be called up to train with the National team, Robert Gatt, the MFA’s Head of Technical centre confirmed that Smeir will be invited alongside John Mintoff of Sliema and Julian Galea of Melita.
