A special night for Maltese Lazio Supporters

It was indeed a special night for the Lazio supporters as the Coppa Italia trophy which was won by the Biancolesti at the end of last season was exhibited at Sciantusi Restaurant in Sliema. Lazio won their seventh Coppa Italia in their history as they saw off Atalanta 2-0 in the match played at Stadio Olimpico.

In this special night singer Toni Malco and club commentator Luigi Sinibaldi were the special guests. They all had words of praise for the organization of the activity. Malco is the author of the Lazio Anthem Vola Lazio Vola while Sinibaldi is the official voice of the club’s TV station Lazio Style.

Malco and Sinibaldi also praised the work done by the Lazio Club Malta president Edward Psaila, describing him as a man who loves the club in an enormous way. They also expressed their respect and gratitude towards all local Lazio supporters and the work being done by all those involved in the running of the local club.

A special dinner was held at the same restaurant and the general topic was Lazio and their progress till now. Their thoughts are now on the new season as the club has the ambition of progressing further in the Serie A table. With the Coppa Italia triumph, they are now participating in the UEFA Europa League.

Lazio Club Malta officials had the chance to meet Onor Carmelo Abela, Minister for Foreign Affairs and together with Frank Zammit, the Maltese ambassador for Vatican, they discussed some currents issues.

Lazio Club Malta have the ambition to bring some players or ex-players to the Maltese islands as they would like to increase their activities for the members.
