A total of 19 coaches have successfully completed the first UEFA Pro course organised by the Malta FA Technical Centre.

The candidates sat for the final part of their rigorous assessments of a 450-hour long course and achieved very high standards across the board.

“The Coach Education Department within the Technical Centre has received positive feedback from UEFA’s JIRA panel official Dany Ryser who oversaw the assessment sessions,” the Malta FA Technical Centre said in a statement.

“Mr Ryser declared that the work put in by the Pro course candidates and the results obtained confirm the very high level of education the Malta FA offers in all its coaching courses.

“Local coaches have again demonstrated their capabilities and a great willingness to work hard in order to achieve the required competences.”

The Malta FA congratulates these newly-qualified Pro coaches on their achievement: Abdilla Darren, Agius Gilbert, Attard Wayne, Bartolo Brian, Bartolo Ludvic, Buttigieg Mark, Farrugia Raymond, Grech Joe, Mansueto Josef, Marlow Mark, Miller Mark, Muscat Winston, Nisevic Branko, Pullicino Peter, Scerri Jaques, Sciberras Charles, Spiteri Oliver, Turner Noel, Vella Steven.

The Malta FA’s Coach Education Department is led by Stephen Grima while the Director of the Technical Centre is Robert Gatt.

The presentation of certificates to the newly-qualified UEFA Pro coaches as well as those who have completed the UEFA ‘A’ Elite course is to be held towards the end of May.
