On Saturday the second game between the Maltaselect team versus the Rest took place. The Maltateam batted first. Nowell Khosla and Dave Borg opened the innings. Borg who is fine form continued by hitting twenty two runs from seventeen balls faced which included two sixes. Nowell Khosla made eighteen runs from nineteen balls. Justin Brooke who last week had a very slow innings, made a massive improvement scoring twenty four runs from twenty one balls and was run out by a direct throw from Ewan Perens, which left him stranded by a few inches. Frank Spiteri batted well for sixteen runs, Sunny Krishna made eight runs. Ronnie Sacco again impressed scoring twenty seven runs from seventeen balls which included three fours. TheMaltateam scored 139 runs from their allotted overs.  Kevin Krishna and Bikram Arora were the main wicket takers with two each , while Ewan Perens and Wasseem Abbas took a wicket each.

In reply Simon Lavendar and Harron Majeed opened the innings. They were off to a flyer until Majeed was caught, he made sixteen runs from fifteen balls and included two fours. Lavendar went on to top score for his team. He made a run a ball forty four which included two sixes. Joy Ghoseroy struggled with a twenty ball fourteen runs, Bikram (sixteen runs) and Pragnesh ( twenty runs) were making the Malta team sweat, once they were out, the Malta team were able to control the game. The Rest made 124 runs from their twenty overs. For the Maltateam, Dave Borg, Mike Caruana and Ronnie Sacco took two wickets each.  The Maltaselect team won the second game.

Next week the Marsa team play returning Stockport Grammar School who will be on their twelfth tour.
