12 year old Kayden Lagana places 3rd in his category in the 5th stop of the YET

Lagana shot to the top of his group made up of 25 players in the qualifiers bowling his personal best 6 games series of 1274, and held on to second place after step 1 to go into step 2.

The top 4 played 1 game each, with the low player eliminated. Kayden rolled a 185 to pass through into top 3; however a 193 in the next game was not enough as Jack Blyth and eventual winner Ben Kristensen bowled games of 247 and 225 respectively.

Lagana’ has thus placed top 3 in his group in all the 3 stops of this year’s Youth European Tour that he has taken part in, placing 2nd in Belgium, first in Ireland and now 3rd in The Netherlands

The other 3 Maltese players also had strong performances; Dylan Santillo, qualified to the finals in 7th place and ended up 9th overall; Philip Gruppetta ended up missing the cut by 4 pins notwithstanding his 220 average series, while Matthew Magro finishing in 21st place in the same group as Gruppetta with a  good 207 average.
