This Saturday 29th August, Hilary Galea-Lauri, will be leaving Malta to to bravely embark on a 1,600-kilometre cycle, from Land’s End to John o’ Groats(‘LEJOG’) with the aim of raising over EURO 10,000 for Inspire Foundation – an NGO he fervently supports.

Hilary will be available for photos and questions at the MIA departure lounge, on Saturday 29th August between 9am and 9:30am.  You will see Inspire signage.

The distance is the traversal of the whole length of Great Britain between two extremities; in the southwest and northeast, and Hilary plans to cover it in no more than 12 days.

Hilary has already raised more than half his target – over €5,000 have already been donated to support Hilary and ultimately Inspire.

If you cover his departure on Saturday you will give Hilary and Inspire a bigger chance of reaching the target of €10,000.  Remeber the money will be used to sustain disability programs and services for children, adults and their families. Today Inspire helps over 1000 people with disabilities ranging from Down Syndrome, Autism and others.  They do this either for free or at a highly subsidized rate.
